Resources' Community Care Grants support local initiatives to resolve economic, social or environmental problems.

Congratulations to the following organisations who received Grants in 2009.

• Child Abuse Prevention Service (Inner West Sydney)
  $3,000 to produce child abuse prevention packs for local schools
• Griffith Pre-School Kindergarten
  $5,000 to improve outdoor play area to teach kids about the environment, sustainability and recycling
• Grapevine Support Group (Leeton)
  $2,000 to help separated and widowed individuals re-enter a social support network
