FAQ
- Transfers
How do I transfer funds from my account to
an account at another financial institution?
You will need to complete a Funds
Transfer External Application. All signatories on a joint memberhip
are required to sign the applicaiton. You can post
or fax your application to any of
our offices.
When I set up a direct debit
or electronic transfer to my account, can I give them the numbers on
the bottom of my cheque book?
No, regardless you should always use your member number as the account
number and our BSB (802 - 058).
How do I send money to my
account from overseas?
When sending money to your account from overseas, you will need to use
the following account details -
Account Name: Resources Credit Union Ltd.
Bank Name: National Australia Bank
Account Number: 50 - 922 - 3047
BSB Number: 082 - 172
Reference Number: (Your member number)
What is the SWIFT code?
When you send funds via Telegraphic Transfer or draft you may be asked
for our SWIFT code, which is CUSCAU2SXXX.
Why does it take 24 to 48 hours for Bpay
and external transfers to be received?
Whilst we endeavour to process all transactions in a timely manner,
Resources Credit Union has no control on how receiving institutions
or participants in the BPAY Scheme process the transfer/payment at their
end. Therefore your payment or transfer may take up to two working days
to process.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount I
can transfer?
There is no minimum amount when using FTE, the maximum however is as
per your FTE application.
The minimum or maximum for BPay depends on the biller (usually $1.00)
minimum and (usually $10,000 to $100,000) maximum.
What happens if I have, inadvertantly, given
the incorrect account details?
Unfortunently, once funds have been sent, we are not able to reverse
or call back the funds. In most cases the corresponding financial institution
will send the funds back within a day or so. Once the funds are recevied,
your account will be re-credited.
Can I set my transfers to go out weekly,
fortnightly or monthly?
Yes, with BPay you can do it yourself on NetBranch. To use FTE for an
ongoing (periodical) payment you will need to send a written request
to any of our offices.
How much does each transfer cost?
Each EFT transaction made on your account will cost $1.25, and each
BPay will cost $0.50. Keep in mind your transaction rebate, click here
